Custom grandstands in Neder-Over-Heembeek

For a sports facility in Neder-Over-Heembeek, SKOR realized two custom-made grandstands along the playing field. The design is based on a dugout construction, creating a compact and fully covered seating solution. Both grandstands are 21 meters long and feature two rows of seats and 78 stadium seats. Together, they can accommodate 156 visitors, who can sit dry along the field even in the rain thanks to the canopy.

The challenge

The desire was to create additional seating for visitors along the playing field. The solution not only had to offer sufficient capacity but also protect supporters from rain and other weather conditions.

Due to the available space along the field, a long grandstand was desired. The solution had to offer as many seats as possible without taking up an unnecessary amount of space around the playing field. A design based on a dugout construction was well suited for this.

Our solution

SKOR supplied two fixed stands, each 21 metres long. The design is based on a dugout construction, creating a fully covered stand directly alongside the pitch. Both stands feature two rows of seating and 78 plastic shell seats. Together, the two stands offer space for 156 visitors.

The canopy extends over the entire length, ensuring that visitors can sit dry and comfortably alongside the pitch, even in the rain. This creates a practical stand solution with the shelter of a traditional dugout.
