Foot scrapers are indispensable on Dutch sports fields. Sufficient and good quality foot scrapers are necessary to prevent rubber infill from spreading into the environment. They also significantly help keep dirt out of changing rooms, which results in lower cleaning costs and fewer clogged drains.

The SKOR scraper is vandal-proof. The frame is hot-dip galvanized steel, and the beams are made of recycled plastic. The bristles used are made of nylon. A major advantage of nylon in this application is that the bristles do not flatten. This is a significant difference from standard brooms, which are made of PVC or PE, whose bristles flatten almost immediately.
