For Sint-Truidense V.V., abbreviated STVV, SKOR supplied and installed new custom dugouts and 1,800 stadium seats in the recognizable club colors yellow and blue. The renovation was part of the adjustments to Stayen to make the stadium comply with the requirements of UEFA Stadium Category 4. With these new facilities, the stadium is ready for European home matches.
The challenge
After STVV's European qualification, Stayen had to be adapted in a short time to the guidelines for matches at the highest European level. This required various renovations to the facilities along the pitch and in the stands.
The dugouts that SKOR supplied to the club in 2017 were due for replacement after almost ten years of intensive use. In addition, the new versions had to offer sufficient seating for players and technical staff. A part of the existing stadium seats also no longer met the applicable requirements, partly due to the height of the backrest.
Our solution
SKOR developed two completely custom-made stadium dugouts, based on the design previously realised for SC Cambuur. Each dugout accommodates 27 players and staff members. The luxury business seats are divided into two rows, making efficient use of the available space along the pitch.
The seats are in the club colour and feature the STVV logo. This ensures that the dugouts align with the look and feel of the Belgian professional football club, both functionally and visually.
In addition, SKOR realised a separate dugout for the fourth official. This version features five luxury seats and forms a cohesive unit with the two large dugouts due to the same design and material use.
For the stands, SKOR supplied and installed 1,800 bucket seats with a higher backrest. The numbered seats are in yellow and blue, creating a recognisable stadium image.
