For the Van Heenvlietlaan sports park in Amsterdam, SKOR supplied and installed sports facilities for the korfball and tennis club S.V. Triaz. Commissioned by the municipality of Amsterdam, the multifunctional sports park was equipped with korfball posts, tennis sets, a scoreboard, pitch grippers, a PowerDunk '72, street sport goals, and mobile dugouts. This created a versatile and future-proof sports environment.
The challenge
S.V. Triaz is a regular user of the sports park, where a large korfball court takes centre stage and is also suitable for setting up five mobile tennis courts. Behind this court are permanent tennis courts, meaning the sports park combines multiple functions.
The challenge lay in creating a layout that could be flexibly used for various sports, without compromising on quality, ease of use, and appearance. The sports park had to be suitable for intensive use by different target groups, while remaining clear and practically arranged.
Our solution
SKOR supplied and installed a wide range of sports facilities. For korfball, korfball poles and pitch grippers suitable for intensive use were installed. Tennis sets were also supplied that can be easily deployed on the multifunctional pitch, allowing for a quick conversion from a korfball court to a tennis setup.
The sports park was further supplemented with a scoreboard, street sports goals, and a PowerDunk '72, facilitating other sports as well. Finally, mobile dugouts were installed, which can be flexibly used along the field. This combination of products ensures a sports park that is multifunctional, durable, and practical to use.
