Commissioned by the City of Amsterdam, SKOR realized a fully equipped, multifunctional sports park on Van Heenvlietlaan in Amsterdam South. The park, home to sports club S.V. Triaz, has been developed into a modern sports environment where various sports and target groups come together. The result is a future-proof sports park that optimally meets the needs of an urban environment.
The challenge
The request from the City of Amsterdam was to make the sports park suitable for multiple sports and target groups, without compromising on quality and ease of use. The park is intensively used by both clubs and recreational users, which requires a well-thought-out and efficient layout. The challenge lay in achieving a good balance between fixed and flexible sports facilities within the available space.
Our solution
SKOR has furnished the sports park with multifunctional sports facilities. Korfball posts have been placed in ground sleeves and are easy to remove. In addition, two fixed basketball hoops (PowerDunk '72) have been installed, adjustable in height and suitable for various age groups.
Street sports goals have been integrated into the fencing to optimize space utilization. Mobile tennis nets have also been installed, allowing for flexible use of the field. Two portable dugouts offer extra flexibility during training sessions and matches.
The artificial turf pitch is finished with a durable clamping system for anchoring, ensuring a neat finish and easy maintenance. Finally, a scoreboard has been installed for S.V. Triaz matches.
