For Northside Ballers in Amsterdam, SKOR realized a compact 3x3 basketball court at sports park De Weeren, right next to the sports hall. Commissioned by the municipality of Amsterdam, the court was equipped with a personalized Performance floor with anchoring, two PowerDunk'72 towers with lighting, and ball-catching nets.
With this expansion, the club is actively responding to the growing popularity of 3x3 basketball and thereby investing in a future-proof sports facility.
The Challenge
Northside Ballers was looking for a modern outdoor facility that met the changing demands within the sport. The growth of 3x3 basketball requires contemporary facilities that fit how the sport is experienced today. In addition, the court had to be suitable for intensive use, both for training and free play. It was important that the available space next to the sports hall was optimally utilized, resulting in a compact and functional design.
Our Solution
SKOR realized a fully equipped 3x3 basketball court with a personalized Performance tile floor, including anchoring. This sports floor is hard-wearing, easy to maintain, and offers the right playing characteristics for intensive use. The personalization gives the court a unique look that matches the club.
Central to the court is the adjustable PowerDunk '72 basketball system. This durable solution is designed for intensive use and forms the heart of the playing field. The integrated lighting makes it possible to use the court in the evening hours. Together, these elements create a compact and professional basketball court that fully meets the club's wishes.
