What is pole vaulting?

Landing mats for pole vaulting

The 8 x 6-meter landing mat is constructed from high-quality foam layers with different load capacities. This guarantees a safe landing, regardless of the athlete's weight or jump height. The mat is fitted with a special cover: the sides and bottom are made of sturdy PVC for long-lasting wear resistance, while the top and edges are finished with anti-spike fabric. This fabric promotes air escape and ensures a comfortable landing.

The mat is marked with a white Velcro strip on the zero line, contributing to accurate rule enforcement during competitions.
