Nets in Various Sizes and Colors
SKOR nets are available in various sizes. You can easily find them on our website. In addition, different colors are also possible. White nets are usually chosen, but there are also clubs or associations that would like the nets in their club colors. A lot is possible. We have various combinations in our assortment. Ask us about the possibilities! Please note that the costs for a colored net are higher and the delivery time for these nets may be longer.
What material are the nets made of?
Nets are made from two types of material. The most common type is a net made of PP (polypropylene). This material feels softer and more pliable and hangs easily and nicely in the goal. The material also stretches a little. The purchase price is relatively affordable. A disadvantage is that PP nets wear out faster. In addition to PP nets, there are also nets made of PE (polyethylene). PE is a type of plastic. PE nets are much stiffer and heavier. The purchase price for a PE net is also much higher than that of PP. A great advantage of PE nets is that their lifespan is significantly longer than regular nets.
Yarn thickness and mesh size of the nets
Nets vary in yarn thickness, also known as thread thickness. You can choose from nets of 3mm, 4mm, and 5mm. SKOR supplies 4mm as standard because we know that the lifespan meets the requirements. If you choose a net with thicker yarn (thread thickness), the lifespan of the net will increase. Nets are made with different mesh sizes. These vary from 45mm, 100mm to 120mm.
